Setup modes

– Change Language: Allows users to select a different

LCD display language.

– Calibrate Length: Calibrates the unit to compensate

for variations in the measurement of cable length.

– Find Length Constant: Enables measurement of

the length constant of an attached known length of

cable.

See “Modifying Unit Settings” on page 59 in Chapter 5 for

more information on setup modes.

Navigating in the User Interface

When you first power up the LanScaperPRO, the Main

Menu appears on the LCD:

To navigate through menus and submenus in the LCD,

select changeable options, and set values for changeable

options, use the keys on the keypad as described below:

– Use the up and down arrow keys to move the high-

light to the desired selection on the screen.
